This time, CLOUD NINE CAMPING JAPAN has added one new vehicle and officially launched a brand-new rental category — the “Long Trip Vehicle.”

Why did we choose the “Long Trip” concept?

While welcoming many travelers from overseas, we have often heard comments like these:

“I want to travel around Japan at a slower pace.”
“I don’t want to rush every day. I’d like to stay a few nights in the same place.”

Japan may be geographically compact, but each region offers completely different scenery, climate, and atmosphere. If you’ve taken the time to come all the way to Japan, we truly hope you experience not a tightly packed itinerary, but rather a journey that feels more like living, not just traveling.

With this in mind, we began carefully considering what kind of vehicle is truly suited for long-term travel — and that is how our Long Trip Vehicle was created.

Peace of mind — especially for travelers from abroad

Language barriers, unfamiliar road rules, camping preparations, power management…

The Long Trip Vehicle was designed specifically for travelers who plan to move around and stay in Japan for an extended period. We believe it brings extra comfort, ease, and reassurance to long journeys.

The positioning of the Long Trip Vehicle

The Long Trip Vehicle is designed for rentals of 7 days or more.

Previously, all CLOUD NINE vehicles were available for rentals starting from 3 days. However, this Long Trip Vehicle is intended for more relaxed, extended journeys, and is therefore available exclusively for reservations of 7 days or longer.

We believe that only when time is not limited — and you are not rushing from place to place — can the true value of this vehicle be fully appreciated.

Feature ①｜Designed for journeys of 7 days or more

The Long Trip Vehicle is built with trips of 7 days or longer in mind.

From Tokyo to Mount Fuji, continuing on to regional areas — or choosing one destination and settling in for a while. We hope that by traveling without being chased by time, you’ll discover Japan’s everyday scenery and quiet moments.

Feature ②｜A system that significantly reduces power anxiety

On long camping trips, power management often becomes an unexpected source of stress. All CLOUD NINE vehicles are equipped with a portable power supply, but as trips get longer, devices like smartphones, cameras, and electric blankets can quickly drain available power.

To address this, the Long Trip Vehicle is equipped with the EcoFlow Alternator Charger (engine-powered charging system).

This system uses power generated by the vehicle’s engine to charge the portable power supply efficiently and steadily while driving or idling. Compared to standard cigarette-lighter charging, it offers much higher output — turning travel time itself into charging time.

 As a result, there is little need to search for campsites with electrical hookups or adjust your itinerary just for charging.

You can stay warm and comfortable at night, and start your day without worrying about battery levels. This sense of “peace of mind without overthinking” becomes especially valuable on long journeys.

Feature ③｜ETC card usage fee included

On longer trips, it’s natural to use highways more frequently. With the Long Trip Vehicle, the ETC card usage fee (500 yen per day), which is normally charged daily, is already included in the overall plan.

Rather than calculating small expenses while driving, we want you to freely think:

“Should we drive a little farther today?”
“Maybe we’ll take a small detour.”

This philosophy is exactly why we chose this pricing structure.
